Nutrients for Your Body Made Simple
A healthy diet and exercise are essential for a healthy lifestyle, but even when we get it all right, we still don’t always get all the nutrients we need. Without those essential vitamins and minerals, our body becomes tired, sluggish, and slow, and it doesn’t work the way it should. You can get all those nutrients you need in a simple IV, and you can feel nourished and energized.

Frequently Asked Questions
IV nutrition bypasses certain absorption barriers—like your stomach’s digestive system—to go directly into your bloodstream for fast, efficient delivery. We will determine which IV nutrition formula you need based on your symptoms.
How often you receive nutritional IVs depends on your symptoms and desired results. We will help you build a treatment schedule that works best for you.
The treatment is not painful. We use a small needle that causes only minor, brief discomfort upon insertion.
When you cannot eat or drink, IV nutrition can provide your body with the nutrients it needs. It can help you gain weight and keep your muscles from breaking down. However, this “tube feeding” in only used for serious medical procedures—like during or after a chemotherapy treatment for a cancer patient. At Success by Design, we use IV nutrition in Clearwater as a supplemental treatment, not a substitute for a proper nutritional diet.
Those who have or have a history of kidney disease or heart conditions should not experience IV nutrition in Clearwater. The reason is because these organs may not be able to handle the sudden surge of additional minerals and nutrients in the body, and could cause those organs to strain and possibly fail. We recommend speaking with your primary care provider before deciding on undergoing nutritional IVs.
The most common side effects people experience after getting nutritional IVs are dizziness, headache, nausea, and flushing (a sudden feeling of warmth, usually in the face). We ask that before you come in for your IV appointment, you drink plenty of water, get adequate rest, and have eat to prevent these symptoms from occurring. If they still do occur, we’ll provide you with some water and a snack to help alleviate symptoms. The sudden surge of nutrients in your body without proper hydration and food can cause these reactions in your body, so food and water before an after will help.
